Our Forging Technology当社の鍛造技術

Forging shapes metal by applying pressure with hammers or presses, enhancing its strength and toughness.
This makes forging particularly suitable for manufacturing components that require exceptional strength, such as aircraft parts.

Since our founding as a hammer forging shop, we have continually refined this technology to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

What Is Forging?鍛造とは

Forging is a manufacturing method that shapes metal through impact or pressure. Originating from the handcrafted work of blacksmiths forging swords in ancient times, today it has evolved into a wide array of processes. We utilize screw press die forging, in which machinery and dies form the metal to specified dimensions and shapes.

Characteristics of Forged Products

Forming through impact and pressure refines the metal’s internal grain structure, making it dense and uniform. This gives forged products excellent mechanical properties, including tensile strength and hardness.

Our Strengths当社の強み

High-Precision, High-Efficiency Forging with Screw Presses

Compared with hammer and crank press forging machines, screw press forging delivers far greater energy per stroke, allowing even large workpieces to be formed in just one or two blows. This enables the easy and efficient production of consistent products with minimal dimensional variation. We also produce high-precision products with complex geometries and near-net-shape forgings that closely approximate the final form. This eliminates or minimizes downstream operations such as machining, thereby reducing both material usage and labor.

Production Process生産工程

In an era of rapid technological change, we have been an early adopter of labor-saving automation. Always looking to the future, we actively invest in state-of-the-art equipment to maintain highly efficient production facilities.

Cutting

Raw material and metal billets are cut to sizes suitable for processing.

Heating

The material is heated to a temperature suitable for forging. (Omitted in cold forging.)

Forging

The material is die-forged on a screw press and formed into the desired shape.

Heat Treatment

Quenching stabilizes the metal's microstructure and improves hardness and strength.

Machining

Depending on product requirements, we provide grinding, pressure welding, and various machining operations.

Inspection & Testing

In addition to dimensional measurement, we carry out inspections and tests tailored to product requirements.
